wanted 1985 or later 944

hey i live in the louisville area of kentucky and indiana. i am looking for a 85-89 944 for under2500 preferably. this summer i want to get an s2 engine and suspension and put it on this car, unless someone can sell me a 89s2 for under 3000 bucks. i also plan to turbo chargeand put nitrous on this engine in the long future.

preferably i want this car to have:
ABS
PS, PB
pwer door locks and power windows
power seats would be nice
sunroof would be nice

also car must be in good running condition as it will be a fiarly daily driver, maintanence recrods are a must before i purchase. any one who has the s2 engine i can buy it this summer sometime, just give me a price and ill see what i can do

You will never find one in this good of shape for that price...it's a Porsche not a honda.

In this condition you are looking at any where from $7500 to $10,000...the turbos are going upward to around $14,000 and up.

You can find one that needs serious TLC for the price you a looking for.

I have an 87' for sale...for $8000.

I don't know where you're living, but here in Florida a 944 goes for about $2500-$9000 depending on condition. Wrecks are only about 1k.

I bought mine from a guy in Ft Lauderdale for 3k. Complete records, garage kept, porsche shop maintained, a beautiful car. The guy loved his car and cried as I drove away but that's the price you pay for children!

I wish you all the luck in finding your Porsche. If you're going go through all the BS and $$$ to put the S2 engine in, put the 968 engine in instead. More HP, variocam, same amount of work.
