What does SR20DET mean? i know what the "20" and the "T" but thats it, what does the rest mean?

sr- is the engine series..
20- is displacement (2.0l)
d-direct ignition i believe.
t- is turbo

d- dual over head cam is what i thought
e- electronic fuel injection
t- turbo

i thought u had this engine.....

yeah that's what I was thinking. that would be pretty sad if he did have the motor and didn't even know what it meant.
