Hello. I decided to work on this kit as I find it very attractive. Thanks first of all to Chris for providing such quality in his transkits :sunglasse!! I am going to paint it in a color very similar to the Pewtery-silver that Veilside uses for some of their vehicles. Wheels will be 17" XS-Tuning wheels as shown. Thanks for looking .

Cool, now all it needs are some apex N1 style mufflers to fill those exhaust cutouts in the rear valence. The kit exhaust is nothing but rice-cannon attached to stock sized chrome exhaust pipe.

Not a big fan of a veilside kit on a civic. But that S.A.S kit looks well made.

I love the Veilside stuff, I love this transkit. I have the transkit, but not the 1/25th kit! :disappoin Looks like I'll have to do a bit of a conversion of the transkit onto the 1/24th Fujimi kit.

Can't wait to see your finished result.

looks so sweet, you definately need a colour that will show off all the curves. a paint that can show light and dark realy well.
it has to be a pearl or metalic. cool cool project. cant wait to see more.

That is one 'sick' Civic, Great Work !! I can't wait to see progress on it.
Are they photo etch badges on the back of it?

I'm waiting for my first order from SAS and following this thread is making the wait unbearable. They look like great quality transkits?

I bought some pearl powder from HLJ that works great, just add it to your paint before you airbrush. Perhaps a clear coat with a pearl effect would be different?

Thanks guys! :) I get them directly from the company's website because they have free shipping.
I have been thinking about getting some of that pearl powder to try out on a kit one day. I don't have photoetched badges for it but it would be nice!! :) Sorry about the crappy pictures but I promise that the finished pics will be better.

You have to get some of the pearl powder. It is SO easy to use and comes in a great selection of colours. I will post a pic of my GT3 I'm working on when I have some photos. It's painted Testors CheZoom Teal Pearl with Red Fine grain pearl powder added. The colour is amazing.
Anyway give it a go sooner rather than later.
Thanks
Rob

Looks real nice Antonio, i'm very keen to see one of these built. You guys are much more likely to get one finished before i can. I'm very pleased that the hood has turned out great, when i made the original i didn't even have the time to prime it before making molds to get copies done in time for release at show.
