We had some free work done on an automatic seatbelt in a >10 year old integra, so it at least seems fairly likely.

Yeah they have a lifetime waranty. Mine kept screwing up in my 86 accord and I took it to the dealership and they said they would fix it for free, because of the lifetime waranty. Then somebody hit me head on like 2 days be for my appointment for the new ones. Just call the local dealership or take it down to have them see if it is disfunctional.

yes the seatbelts are covered for life, they are a saftey issue so they must be covered at any dealer.

They are ONLY covered for life if they haven't been tampered with or the car was in an accident.
Like posted above, take your car to the dealer, they will inpsect then possibly order you new ones.

You think they'd give me crap about having stripped out the interior? In order to remove the top rear quarter panel linings you have to disconnect the top part of the seat belt, not the lower though.

They might, try another dealer until they do it.

Yes they warranty them. I had my dealer do mine. The only reason they wont do it is if it was "totaled" by insurance
