1990 Q45 Won't shift into park at times.

I have a 1990 Q45 that intermittently won't shift into park at times,
more so when cold. The brake interlock works fine coming out of park.
I'm not familiar with this trans. and wanted to see if someone has had
a similar problem and repair.
