Paint accumulation in panel lines

Hey there
After I tried to sand out the orange peel on my rx7 and taking some of the paint off, thus creating a really bad effect, I decided to sand down the entire model and get rid of the orange peel. Well just now I resprayed the model and I got the P-man shine down big time :loser: . Of course there are a few air bubbles, but only on the bonnet, where I suppose sprayed a bit too much. Also, some of the paint covered up the panel line (panel line still visible however), but im not so sure if it is safe to open the bonnet without taking half the paint with it. There is only one other spot where the paint has gone in the panel line, but thats where the side mirrors go so im not too fussed about that.

So my question is (and im sure other people wonder), how do you guys fix up the panel lines (especially on openable lines). should i just "groove" out the paint once its dry?
I hope after this my reign of noobie posts ends for real (hey, i got the p-man shine, and im getting a camera tomorrow :P)

well i usually just paint the hood separately from the body, so I can slip the hood in place and its all nice like. For the rest of the panel lines i usually scribe them deeper with the back of my hobby knife before painting and i scribe them again after primer and after first coat! That seems to work for me.

hm, yeah i should have probably sprayed the hood seperately but its too late now... i might just cut the paint with the knife once its all dry and sand it down... its only a very small area so its all good :P
