Engine Dillema

Some of you might remember me from a different thread. Well, brand new material to bring to the table. So the LS is the engine with the most potential, or at least that is what i got from my last thread. What engine swaps, or are there none better? Just a little Curious G. in me. :evillol:

what happened, I thought you wanted a firebird. The LS is a budget engine. if you can afford it, get the GSR and build it up, otherwise go for the LS, it is pretty nice.

The basic logic is that the LS engine has alot of potential and the GSR engine has more but at more costs. Personally I like the LS better b/c it is less prone to theft compared to the GSR and ITR. Just my :2cents:

I took off that little DOHC VTEC Badge. Why advertise? I know I probably lost a few horsepower in doing so :icon16: , but better than it getting stolen right? This dude I know put a legit B18c into his 96 EX w/out an alarm and was seriously paranoid ... poor guy...

I'm going with the budget engine for now. What do you mean more potential at more costs? Are you just talking about money or are you talking about some other risks involved? :sly:

I mean more money, like a set of cams for the LS is around $350 and the VTEC cams are around $710+. See that was just one part.

Okay. So with that much more money on the line, how much more powerful is it? In terms of output and endurance after being modded? :evillol:
