Hello everyone, this is my first posting here. Very cool site. I have been collecting diecast cars for several years and have a very large collection. I have so many cars that my walls are all covered with them, not sure what color the wall are any more lol :iceslolan .So I have come up with this awsome idea. I am building a diarama of a city . It will be like the model railroad style. It is going to be 3 feet wide by 14 feet long.It will also be covered with glass or plastic top ( not sure yet ). It will have a lowrider section, drag strip, car show...you get the idea. What I want to know is....Is anyone else building a diarama or does anyone have one done already.I need help with where to get plans for the buildings or good reference pictures. Any help would be great . Construction of the diarama will begin January. We are remodeling our bedroom to do this (my wifes idea..she is wonderfull for helping me with this). If there are any other people doing this same thing ..maybe we could start a club and help each other . Let me know folks !

You might try going out and looking at buildings in your area or actually going to a dragstrip to check out what buildings and equipment would be on the premises. I have a dealership diorama but I don't think that will help you....

Thanks, I have taken photos of my area but I live in a rural area . I was looking for pics of maybe a good model railroad site with lots of pics . That would be very helpfull. I have found a few . Thanks again and by the way nice collection you have. I have at last count over 400 cars. thats why I'm building the diarama.Getting tired of them being on shelves .
