New guy

Just signed up and am looking forward to the experience. I have a few cars, but am looking for information on the 1990 Pathfinder. My rear tire carrier has a bad rattle when you go over even the slightest bump. I think the upper hinge pin is warn. Is their a way to fix this without having to replace the whole thing?
