my friend has a 2000 Civic and he was doing some stuff with some blue bass lights, so he took the fuse out for the stereo and now when he put the fuse back in the anit-theft thing is on.. and he can't use the stereo unless he puts a code in, and he doesn't know the code
i was wondering if the car came with a factory set code...? he bought the car used and didn't get the Honda book .. so if was in there like it should bne.. he doesn't have it!! .. lol
and he doesn't want to do it at the dealers ship cause he might have to pay for it
any help would be awsome.. in how to get rid of the antitheft.. or turn it off!!

The first thing, call the dealer they might have it on file.
If the radio displays code error - you must remove the back-up fuse for 15 seconds & then enter the correct code using the preset buttons. The back-up fuse is located in the main fuse box(under-hood)
No code @ the dealer? Check all removable covers(fuse box, glove box, center console, etc.) for a little white sticker w/ radio code - serial #. During the PDI(pre delivery inspection) a tech. should have placed this sticker in one of those spots, many dont because they are lazy.
No luck there? Time to remove the radio & bring the car and removed radio to the dealership. They will get the code for free. Most dealers wont give anti-theft codes over the phone.
Can't remove the radio yourself? The dealer will charge 1.0hr of labor to remove & re-install your radio
Why does the radio need to be removed? Because there is a serial # the dealer must run in the computer to come up with an anti-theft code.
1 more place, the orginal selling dealer will have a radio card in the deal bag.
