The Theft Deterent system has detected a problem and set a code in the PCM and BCM.
Unfortunatly, it thinks you are trying to steal it.
Do you have a remote starter installed?
First thing is to retrieve the codes..that will determine what diagnostics need to be done next.

This problem is starting to surface with GM vehicles. I just worked on a '00 Silverado on Friday with simular problems. I installed a remote starter for them so I changed out the module to see if it will be OK. I doubt it though.

You need to first test things out first instead of shooting in the dark. You need to know what to fix. Otherwise, it can be very $$$.
