slow progress

Well i know these questions have been asked B4, but I don't think in this form. Basically im looking at buying a Del Sol, and doing an engine swap. I want to do some form of forrced induction down the road, pref turbo (once i have the money) so im thinking b18b or b20b. I've also heard alot about LS-VTECs and CRVTECs. After doing a head swap on these blocks is it still safe to run a high lvl of boost (say 10psi)? Also is it possible to swap the head after the turbo was installed, or would that basically change everything needed for the turbo to work? I want to do work on the engine over time, instead of just dropping a bunch of money and time all at once.
