Went to Hobby Lobby and bought a couple more models to work with. I bought another Tamiya TT Supra, and a Revell 69 Camaro Z28. Planning on doing to the Camaro exactly what I want to do to my 69 Camaro. So as far as unbuilt cars waiting around for some attention i now have: (2) Tamiya TT Supra, (2)Revell 69 Baldwin Motion Camaro, Revell 69 Camaro Z28, Old Revell GT40, Fujimi GT40, Tamiya Porsche GT3, Revell 68 GT500, Fujimi Shelby Cobra, Revell 32 Ford Coupe, Tamiya Skyline GTR, Tamiya Toyota GT-one, Revell Vette AGIN (curent project), AMT 67 Camaro Z28, AMT Grand Sport Vette, AMT Vette ZR1, maybe a couple more that i'm forgetting. Need to hurry up and find some time for these already.

One of those will be the wheels that are put onto my real camaro so i'd like to find a set similar for the model. (too bad the real things are about 1 grand a piece )

Looks like you have a nice amount of kits there.
I'm not sure about the rims. I'll keep a look out for you though.

Thanks and yea i didn't realize how many kits i had to build. I'm working on the Vette AGIN right now, going to do a custom paint job and lower it some. Also going to start the 69 z28 and i'm already working on a baldwin motion pro-touring car (ls1 engine, 6speed, rims, interior, etc...)

Sounds like all of them will be awesome. Just post some progress threads in the sub forum, and post away about it.

Not doing a whole lot now, school is pretty hard especially with finals coming up. Going to be working on atleast 3-4 this summer also dependent on if/where i get a job. I'll definitely keep progress posted. I like how much i've learned on this board searching for tips etc...

You have a 69 Camaro, possibly the meanest "tame" musclecar ever built and you have no job? damn...

I got the car as a birthday/first car present (cost $2200). It had a 307 3 speed and i mowed yards throughout highschool in order to put a 355 forged internal motor with heads and intake headers exhaust, interior, 4 speed super t-10 etc... They said they'd get the car but i have to pay for the mods. www.engr.colostate.edu/~whodge

Thats a nice car dude. I wanted one when I was little, but if I go to a big city for school and stuff, I need a car that'll get more than 9 miles a gallon. Congrats on the car.
Study hard, and get good grades, then you model.:)

The closest you'll find are probably these 18" Aoshima Wise super-Wide Spokes available @ www.americansatco.com (http://www.americansatco.com) pictured on a '70 GTO I'm toying around with.

Thanks for the responses. Those rims will probably do! Thanks for the link to all the wheels, little better then what i was looking at. What does it take to modify the Aoshima rims to work on the revell z28?

My town was fairly big but not huge. I had to skip a few lunches a week to afford to drive my car to school though. It gets depending on how i drive it anywhere from 6-12 mpg in town and around 14-16 on the highway. I have a 90 bronco as a daily driver now that i'm in colorado and it gets about 16-18 in town so that's a little nicer (and it doesn't require premium gas)!

Ok i'll check hobby link japan in the future, what do rims usually cost from there. Also my car wasn't that nice when i got it, it was a really good deal (it ran and all) but it required a little body work and paint. I'm happy with my car, it was my favorite "affordable" car that was actually a possibility. We looked for 3+ years and i got it on my b-day!
