Civic SI Veloz Vs. Eclipse RS

I put my stock RS up against and SI Veloz the other day and whiped it in a 400 meter drag.

How fast is an SI Veloz anyway? I know my RS is only about 140 hp... The Veloz had and exhaust and AEM intake... I though I wouldnt have a chance.

Horsepower: 127 hp // 4 cylinder
Torque: 114
HP After Mods: 138 - 148 around there

so basicly this would have come down to the better driver.

What about an eclipse gs with a cold air intake and muffler and an aluminum underdrive pulley, how many hp do you think it would have?

You are probably look at 160-170+ it all depends. Correct me if i am wrong.

I think the Eclipse body is also more aero dynamic than a honda civic. After all Civic's were ment for smaller things...

yeah the eclipse is much more stream-lined than a civic.... as for the udp, muffler and CAI, i think a 20-30 increase is pushing it a whole lot. that might be what the company tells you but it would probably be maybe 15hp increase if your lucky
