okay i just got my 88 camaro back from the painter not too long ago well i want to drive it and all but now... its winter and i got NO HEAT!
I replaced the thermo.. and it still doesnt blow any heat what is wrong? i need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:

well the heater core could be bad...

check the valve that lets coolant flow into the heating core. Can't rembember the exact name of it.

Check the hose coming from your intake to your heater, that and the fitting that goes into the manifold. I've had one of them bastards break on me. But if that's the case you would have a pretty good leak under there.

um, how bout a vacume leak in the control head? if the heater doors dont open, no air will blow around the heater core, and thus, wont get hot. i dont know if thats what you meant by thermo?

Hypsi87 was right it was the heat contol valve. whoever had the car before me bypassed it to run off the motor and no heat. the heat control valve was broke so im assuming they didnt want to replace it so they bypassed it, cheapasses anyways i got heat and plenty of it again thanks guys and thanks especaily to Hypsi87! :iceslolan
