is air suspension good for performance cars and handling? is air suspension a lot heavier than plain suspension? i want to know if its worth putting on my camaro to make it handle better and give it lift on bumpy roads. i know nothing about suspensions so please enlighten me. thanks

no its not...its mainly for show
except for this new one called praxis and i belive its been developed by brigestone...its the only one that is performance oriented

Air suspension is mostly for luxury cars and off-roaders. I don't know how well it works in performance applications.

that praxis(i believe that is the name) seems to be the only one performance oriented....still its no match for the good old strut and spring combo

Air suspensions are by far the most comfortable, smooth suspension i have ever experienced, but i have no doubt they would suck at handling those windy roads tho.

yeah, it's cool to basically have hydraulics without having hydraulics, but go with coil overs for cornering.
koni adjustables have a soft setting that is VERY comfortable and a stiff setting that is VERY firm.
so that's what I'd say to use, but that's me.
