My Intake air temperature sensor is being flashed by my ECU...so I go on the hunt to find the thing...found it! (very excited, might actually fix something)...oh-oh. One of the wires has 'torn' out of the little white sensor casing...I can see the little stubby bit still stuck in the sensor...one of the two wires (green one) from the harness is still ok...but there is not enough wire to perform a "fix" to the red wire...the guy at the parts counter at Honda said I'm screwed and said I'm going to have to buy another 'complete' engine wire harness!!! That's like $700!!!
How screwed am I???

You've got a couple of choices. You can take the plug apart (not too hard) and try to repair it that way (not my choice) or you can go to the junkyard get the plug you need (with plenty of extra wire attached) cut off the broken plug and solder and shrink wrap the connections. I had to do this for my dizzy power supply plug and it works great (knock on wood).

yeah, it's just a matter of finding that connector used and replacing it
the honda guy was trying to take you if he really suggested buying a whole new harness :(

I have a harness laying around at the shop, I'll check if its got the same connector. If its the right one, you can have it for the shipping cost, couple bucks.
