2000 k-1500 4x4 has resistance at front wheels when turning. It will bring the truck to a stop when turning without offering more pedal power. Feels like CV joints, but I figered they moved and flexed with 4 wheel drive on or off??? Has any one heard of a common problem with 4-wheel drive and turning?
This only happens when truck is in 4 wheel drive.
Thanks, KC

dude the 4 wheel drive is not meant for a slalom course. 4 wheel drive differentials are not great for turning tight radius's anyway but if you let them operate for a while usually they are alright but it will never be like 2 wheel drive turning. But you should drive down the road once a month in 4wd to lube up the gears so they stay in good condition.

You need to stay out of 4 wheel drive unless you are on slick terrain! The transfer case will bind up other wise. The binding is what you are feeling! Every 4x4 will do it.
