I just got my SAM Newsletter:

Revell-Monogram moving:
Revell-Monogram, Morton Grove, Ill., announced that it was moving to nearby Northbrook by Jan. 1, and that its domestic model manufacturing operations were to be phased out first quarter of 2004 and relocated to China, meaning it becomes the last major plastic-model maker to do so.

For the full story on Revell-Monogram's relocation, click here. [http://scaleautomag.com/sca/default.aspx?id=58&c=a]

Any input on this?

I hope this doesn't delay any releases, Im waiting on the escalade eclipse and civic. And I may make a new modeler of one of my friends when the escalade releases he said he will give it a try!

Hopefully it wont have a one piece chassis like all the rest of the cubside kits. This way i can utilize my silverado suspension lift. (same suspension on mostly all GM Full size vehicles)

The prices will probably rise for you boys in the US, but seen as china is closer to australia than US, I guess Our prices will go down. Let's hope they continue building the same models and don't turn into a jap only manufacturer simply because of the new location.
