HUD (Heads Up Display) Wiring

Does anybody know what each wire is (power, ground, etc.)? where it goes in the plug? I just got a HUD and the wiring is all scrambled.

Surely this information is given in a Factory Service Manual or something... (no I don't have the abiblity to get one at the moment)

Can anyone give me even a few pin id's? please.

I'd help you but I only have an FSM for an S14, and the HUD wasn't available on it. Maybe someone on here has an S13 FSM.

The fsm for the s13 is bad....doesn't contain any files or it won't unzip....Downloaded it like 10 times....Just so you know....Are you trying to put a hud into a 240sx that didn't have an hud? Also, make sure that the hud cluster matches your engine type, meaning if you have a ka24de engine, get one off a 91 and up with a ka24de engine...the rpm won't work if you try to swap it to a different ecu/engine type.

I know that the HUD runs off of the Cluster. Does the cluster run off of the ECU as well? (ECU recieves Signals from the VSS and Tach, but does the cluster get it's info from the ECU?) Just wondering.

Yeah I couldn't get the FSM Download to work either.

The HUD can be used on any type engine, I just say to get one from the same engine class; if not, your tach won't work. Your tach won't work if you tried to put a sohc cluster into a dohc car. Just so you know. Also, are you trying to put it in to a car that didnt' have hud or are you replacing?
