MODEL KITS REAL CHEAP(LOWRIDER&DRAGSTER FANS)

i went to wal-mart today and saw alot of model kits cheap (I MEAN BELOW $9 CHEAP) and i bought what i could but i remember the cheap kits to post for my fellow AFer's, but not all the details. Here is the list:

-AMT 1964 Chevy Impala Pre-painted Body(could strip easily) $8.94
-Revell Cheville Dragster( srry dragster only) $8.94
-Revell VW golf 2 n 1 $8.94
-AMT ford truck(dont know year but its the old type lowriders use)$6 bux

lol, i have a revell yenko and its pretty good, yet mine is from like the early 80's.

ive heard that kit sux. i was about to buy it to. . . damn im glad i took the el camino over it

but in my wal-mart the models cost like 10$,15$,16$

walmart has their own series. If you see the AMT kits in the gold checkered flag box it normally means 4.99, or if it comes in the gold checkered flag box prepainted its 8.95. :)

lol, i have a revell yenko and its pretty good, yet mine is from like the early 80's.
The Revell Kit is pretty good and has recently been reissued I believe, the AMT he refers to sucks like most of the other FNF kits.
Always check the sale aisle(s) at Walmart, I often find them for $5 there. Another good source would be Big Lots of they have then in your area. They often have AMT 4 PAcks for $12.99.
Hobby Lobby is also a good source and right now all models are 1/3 off, secral times a year they run 1/2 off sales.
And lastly Michaels has a 40% off coupon in every Sunday paper so you can always get a screaming deal there.

yeah, used to only have a select number, last time I was there, they had two isles stocked, revell, fujimi, and amt

Yeah the one by me has a really good selection these days

You guys should hit up Hobby Lobby if there is one in your area. The ones here in Houston, TX have all thier models for 1/2 price. So a Revell that sells usually for 12 bucks is now 6 bucks. They have alot of revells and amt's, but they also carry tamiya's and some tamiya bikes. Check em out. I went Wed. and they were still at 1/2 off.
