stock stereo removal in MK4 Jetta

I don't have my user's manual, and i have no idea how to remove this thing. I don't think I need DIN keys, as there are no holes in the unit, aside from one long thin hole on each side of the face. hoped you guys could help me out, or point me somewhere that can!

You need keys that slide into the long slits on either side of the head unit. If you go to any VW dealership they whould be able to pop it out for you for free. (takes all of 2 seconds)
