Valve cover Question

Hi, Im a newbie to the Automotive Forums web site and I love it. I think it is the most helpful site I have ever used. Any way my question is what is the difference between the red top and black top sr20det's. I looked through your faq forum and saw somithing about it but it was really confusing and i didn't understand it. I am also wondering what a clip is? I know it is something with the engine. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Just to let you know i did read the Important: NEWBIES!!! look here. And in that post I saw that it said go to the faq and it will probably answer the common questions newbies had, so can you guess what i did. Yup thats right i went to the faq post and guess what i found. Something about the valve covers but it was a very confusing description so i simply asked if any one could clarify what they were. So the next time you would like to be an ass about it maby you should read and think about the rest of what i or somebody else had to say.
