I got these from UPS today. :naughty: They are from model express. The only problem i had is with the McLaren Mustang it says on their website that the only thing wrong with it is it is missing the decals. But, they failed to mention its missing the chassis, windows and front suspension. :banghead: :sly:

This particular kit comes with the Magnum 383 or the optional slant 6. Your probably thinking of the wedge or the hemi cars.

argh, I'm half asleep today, your right. how I forgot about how that kit is different from the drag versions., I've build three of those kits, 1 64 Plymouth, and a 63 330 wagon. I'm a big b body mopar fan

How close is the Mclaren Mustang to Revell's other Mustangs? Will you be able to source the parts from another kit? To me it seems the body and engine would be the most important parts, and possibly the only different parts?

the suspension might be swappable from my other revell mustang. But i think the later released mustangs were 1:24. This revell one is 1:25..

no, that Mustang is completely different then Revell's 87-93 Mustang. on Revell's 87-93 Mustang, the rear side windows. are alot bigger then that kits, also, notice the sunroof, I believe thats a one piece window piece. meaning the front, side, sunroof, and front window is all one piece. I maybe wrong about that though, been awhile since I've seen that kit up close

It was a "souviner". My father picked it up for me while he was over in Hamburg Germany. Model selection was few and far between.

Dennis at ModelExpress is generally pretty good about things if you're not happy with an order.
I got a kit missing some parts from him so I e-mailed him and next thing I know he's phoned me so we can talk about what I would like to do about it.
Believe me, I am sure Dennis will be more than willing to settle up with you on the Mustang.
