I have a 92 euro with a 3.4 . the other day i got up and no start.run fine the previous day. There is no spark to the wires the coils are within range.the crank sensor showes voltage variance while cranking.and the module i replaced yesterday. does anyone else know what it could be (ecm maybe and how to check pin in - out voltages ,what voltages should be). and last but not leased i have intermittin egr code ,could this interfear with spark.
thankyou

On that engine, if you have crank signal and a no start condition, most likely you have a bad ignition module

The ignition module is brand new. the crank signal is only .014 volts is that right.

Are you measuring A/C voltage?
Check the resistance of the crank sensor and wiring...should be between 900 -1200 ohms.
Check the A/C voltage of the crank sensor (while the engine is spun over) if it is less than .1v a/c then the sensor or wiring is bad...over .1 v a/c the module is bad

Thank you for the info...... the crank shaft sensor puts out .2-.3 volts ac when turning over. the module is new. is there a way to check the module to see if it was bad when i bought it. or could it be the ecm. do you know what the voltages should be going from the module to ecm.
thank you
