Nope, i'm not a red neck, just felt like using y'all. ANYWAYS, tonight i decided to hook up my dad's laptop to my desktop's monitor, and do the dual monitor thing, DAMN COOL. Now i wanna get another monitor and hook it up to my desktop comp so i can do the dual monitor thing (ya know, where the mouse goes from one screen to the next and all...?). What do i have to buy (other than another monitor) to do this? Thanks for the help:)

If your software supports multiple monitors and you have the hardware already - you dont need anything.

Well, the thing is i took a quick look and i didn't see another port that looks like it will accept a monitor, but i could be mistaken.

Then you most likely need a video card that can support dual monitors. Any OS above windblows 98 accepts dual monitors, so make sure you have both the software and hardware.

You need to buy a dual head video card that you can hook two monitors up to. One problem is most of those except high end ones don't have good refresh rates.
Or you can buy a second video card.
Or you can buy a second video card.

Alright, right now i have a TNT2 vid card, and i have no idea what the capabilites are on it...but i don't think dual monitors. So basically i need a new video card either way?
