I'm running with an 01 gti 1.8t with intake and chipped by APR. I was wondering what performance numbers i was looking at, and aside from exhaust, which i'll be getting soon, and besides a turbo kit, which i can't spend the money on, what other mods could be done to get this quicker, my friends SVT focus is still side by side, he's a good driver and all but i still thought w/ the chip i'd be much faster, thanks.

If the SVT Focus is completely stock, and can't see it side by side with a chipped GTI. I drove the SVT myself and it felt underpowered to me compared to my chipped GTI. The next thing you should do is get a 2.5" or larger downpipe. I would say it's the second biggest power gain to the chip. The car becomes even more responsive. Good luck!

The N75 comes stock with the 1.8T motor. It's a valve that helps control your boost from the turbo. :grinno:

The N75 valve is the wastegate actuator valve. Race, H, and J versions are available that open the wastegate a bit later. These are avilable from many companies, ECS makes their own race version.
A downpipe or turboback exhaust should give you some pretty good gains and is a quick install.
