Power Locks have a mind of their own

My Jimmy has been troublefree up to this point other than the windshield wiper problem, but today it has started having a mind of its own with the Power Door locks.
I will try to describe it. When you lock the doors from the switch, the doors will lock, then unlock, lock, several times and you can even hear the relay clicking several times...sometimes very rapidly. The same holds true when you try to use the remote, however, sometimes that doesn't even work.
If you try to unlock it using the key in the hatchback, then it locks, unlocks and locks the doors.
has anyone seen this? It's almost like either the relay is bad or flaky???
Does the computer have any control over the locks and could it be sending false signals?
The only thing I've noticed now is that the passenger door lock is just a little hard to slide. I've removed the door panel and nothing is obtructing the slide mechanism.
All fuses are good, best I can tell.
Any comments are GREATLY appreciated.
