I'm really really really getting tired of all your god damn b20 posts. Why dont you sit down and make a list of questions, and put it all in one post! Freaking newbies!

Well there are a shitload of different factors in how quick you will run. Depends on the skill of the driver, conditions, etc. Just cuz u have a certain setup we can't give u an exact time. Isn't there some place in the 'IMPORTANT' section at the top of the page about asking about how fast you will run? If u wanna know do the setup and go to the track and find out.

Ahh here it is under '4th gen FAQ' at the top of the threads

....#4 Please don't ask "how fast will my car go if..." because there are a lot more factors involved - mostly the idea that you suck as a driver :p....

^^^That was the first post in the '4th gen FAQ'

Expect high 14's, with good tires, and if you know how to drive.

I live in Utah, we sit at 4900ft. While 80% of people out here run 17's and 16's. 14's are pretty good.

So the altitude kills ya'lls times?

I would venture a guess that a stock b20 will run anywhere from a mid 14 all the way to a 16 sec quarter mile. There are way to many factors to give a good estimate. I have personally seen b20s run mid 14's with minimal mods and a good driver. Then at another track I have seen b20 EDs run 15's and even a 16 or two. There are too many factors like engine health, driver skill, track conditions, alititude, weather conditions, etc

What is the difference in a b20 short block and a b20 long block?

What is the difference in a b20 short block and a b20 long block?

A long block inlcudes everything except a transmission:

Intake manifold
Exhaust manifold
Complete head and block

Short block

Just the complete block from the oilpan to the deck. That's it. It doen't include the head or any manifolds.

True, but this forum does have a search function and he might find answers to most of his questions that way. Besides, his questions are too vague and depend on too many variables making it impossible to give good answer. :2cents:
