Newbie, Help with lift kits.....

AS you can probably tell by the name, I am new to Jeeps, but since I now attend school near Boone, NC I purchased an 88 Jeep Cherokee 4WD. I am looking to lift it and add some tires but I want to make sure i do it the correct way. I've heard I shouldn't go over a 3" lift. I'm trying to get the best for my money and any help would be appreciated.

You can easily do that with a Budget Boost/Add A leaf setups...

you can go all the way up to 9" if you are willing to do it propley. i went 4" and it made a big diffence. alos went 30x9.5" tires but can easily go 33x10.5"rubber. kit cost me about1200.00 cdn kit procomp 3"+1" lift

i just bought a super lift budget boost with shocks for 229.99 it gives you 2" and you can add a full suspension lift to it later if you wanna go higher

Hey, if you want to buy a used 2" Pro-Comp lift kit, I've got the whole setup with instructions for $50 plus shipping (UPS, actual cost). It's bigger coils for the front and add-a-leafs for the rear. I have the shocks, too, if you want them (I didn't like 'em). Shipping would be a bit more. It was used for 4 years and is good shape with all of the hardware.
