To do the conversion correctly, you must have the Master cylinder and slave cylinder out of a four wheel disc brake Z-28. Plan on replacing the axle housing. It is fairly simple, but a time eating project. However, if you ever wanted a posi carrier and 3.42's, just buy an entire rear end axle housing with the carrier and everything from a junked Z. Without the cylinders, your brakes will work, but you will soon find problems.
