How to change PVC valve?

My Ranger has 120,000 miles on it and I want to change the PVC valve?

I have personally never changed it before and don't even know where it is located on the 89 Ranger 4 cyl.

Any help is apprecdiated.

I believe the PCV valve is located on the valve cover with a hose connected to it. Remove the air cleaner to get access to it and you simply pull it out of the grommet in the air cleaner. Once the valve is removed, check the hose also to make sure it's not plugged either.

under the manifold behind the distriubtor. youll see a BIG nasty hose that seems to run off into nowhere... its in there. YUKKY job
