Dumb Question?

I just bought a 1997 Taurus and would like to know how to take out the black fasteners in the trunk that hold the side liner on near the antenna/radio side? I have tried to turn them pull them but no luck. Any audio guys out there that have removed these little farts? Thanks a lot and I'm sure this forum will be of great help to an old fart like me.

Keep pulling and they will pop out. If you tear them out they can be purchased at the HELP section of any autoparts store for a couple of bucks
