I have been making models for sometime and never used this stuff. I want to know whats it cost and how much u get for that price. Plus where do you get it? After you give your model a couple coats of paint and start rubbing it to a nice finish with the compound, do you put 1 coat on after rubbing it down or does it keep its gloss after rubbing it?
Thanks
Josh

Cost....$3.95NZ For a 20g tube.
You should be able to pick it up from your local hoppy store
You dont paint after using the compound. You use it only after all your painting is finished(body).

Dan, is it possible to get the cutting compund in the UK? How much does it cost? Same for the tamiya wax. And how much does a bottle of Kristal Klear cost? (Warren, how much does KKlear cost in NZ?) Thanks in advance...

Oh, and I'm assuming you can apply decals after using the cutting compound?
So it should go like this: primer --> paint --> rubbing compound --> decals --> wax. Correct?
