always use a good light!
leave a window open or have some other form of ventilation
that model instructions idea is good though. I always have problems because i don't have enough space for it :D

1. Keep all clutter to a minimum
2. Keep all pieces that you arent using in the kit box, or a box of sum sort
3. keep all sharp objects in a closed container when not in use
4. keep a towel/rag handy
5. Have bandaids close by
6. make sure you always have a container of clean water (i keep a margirine container with the lid on, of clean water, i do this because my cat tries to drink the water that i use to paint my brushes when he's thirsty, so i just bring out the clean water for him, and i use this to pour into my water container after i empty it, also maybe for sumthing if it got in your eye?)
7. keep all paint lids closed when not in use (keeps from drying up/spilling)
8. keep lid on glues when not in use
9 wipe down the area with damp cloth after a few days, keeps dust to a minimum
10.have very good lighting, and a chair you will be comfortable sitting in for more than an hour
11. if you feel dizzy, walk away and open a window/door for ventalation
12. dont eat paint or glue :nono:

I may be a newb but i agree with the lighting. I Open the blinds during the day, but at night i use a white (well blue compared to incandesent) lamp.
