Hey sup, I'm new here, and I just got a couple questions.
I don't know too much about cars, so anything ya'll can help me with would be much appreciated.
I got a few problems. :p
First, it takes a while for the car to turn back on, sometimes, usually when the engine cuts off as I let go of the clutch too soon before taking off, or when I get back into my car after stopping at the store real quick.
Second, it throws a bunch of white smoke only when I turn on my car. Once its been on for a couple seconds, it clears up in the back.
And lastly, my car, for some reason, revs between 1 and 1.5 k rpms when warm. As it hits 1.5k it drops to 1k and revs back up to 1.5k and it just keeps doing that. While its cold, as it revs to 3k and slowly drops to 2k, down to 1.5k it revs up 0.5k on its way down. I forgot to mention that it idles at 1k at times, and most of the time at 1.5k RPMs. If most of this doesn't make any sense, or I'm not giving enough detail on something, please ask, I'd like to know what I should be aware of with this car. Thanks in advance.

i'm not sure about the starting problem you have...but the white smoke when you start it up is most likly the condensation built up in your exhaust...then by the time your car warms up the condensation is all out... usually only happens in the winter, which is my guess that is happening.
and for the idle problem, check all your intake manifold hoses, take some starting fluid when your car is running spray around your intake manifold, like where it meets the head and spray the hoses too, if your car revs up you know you have a leak, good luck... let us know what you find out.

It could be an intake leak, or a bad ISC, or a combination of things. I believe there is a matrix of idle control problems still on www.vfaq.com. I believe i also saw some info at www.crebotech.com. Thats from memory, hopefully thats the right URL. That should start you in the right direction, as well as what EclipseRST mentioned above.
