Prospective 96 Prelude Owner- Need Help

I'm thinking of buying a 96 prelude within the next week or two. Needs some info on the car, as far as reliability, performance, and anything else that might be useful. I also have a VIN# and if anyone can do a free carfax for me I would really appreciate it. I will get the number and post it, maybe tomorrow.

The car I'm looking at has close to 120,000 miles and the dealer is asking for $5900 for it.
I'm trying to finance this car and since I'm going to be stuck with the payments for a good 2-3 years I'm a little freaked out, about the quality of the car.
If you guys can give me any input regarding this, I highly appreciate it.

i have a 93 si. i run the piss out of it non-stop. it has 183,000. it goes to the track, gets driven in the snow, and gets the tires smoked a few times a day. the only work i have done to it (besides mods) is change the oil every 3000 miles. i hope that helps you in your decision. well as far as reliability goes, if you check any of those car sites preludes get very high numbers, the 96 got a 9.3 overall reliablity rating from like edmunds or msnautos, which is very high so go for it, i own a 96 =)
