HELP!!! SAS Kit

I just got the 350Z body kit from SAS. I haven't used anything like this before and I don't really know how to 'work' it.

1.What do I use to cut out the parts from the original car.
2.What do I use to attach the new parts to the body? Cement/super glue/tape??? (I don't have any putty)
3. Any thing else I should know? Anything about removing the moldings? (Tons of em)

I've heard cotton thread works very well- just take it slow- back and forth, back and forth and the heat/friction will nicely cut the plastic along your chosen path.

Hopefully others can help you with the attachment questions...

Using a razor blade, make many many many many shallow passes along the panel lines between the panels you wish to separate. Or, if you have one, you can go at it with a Dremel until most of the material is gone and sand the rest away. To attach the resin, use superglue or two part epoxy. Superglue should be fine, but you may have to reinfore the joint with stryrene strip or sheet, but Chris makes good stuff and it should have reinforcement built into the resin parts, so no problem.

Other things you should know: Sanding resin generates toxic dust! Do not sand resin without a mask of some sort! The $1 paper masks from Home Depot that cover your nose and mouth should be fine. I can't tell you how many times I've worked with resin and had a sore throat/nose for a couple days after. Don't repeat my mistake!

-Also, wash the resin thoroughly before paint. The mold release compounds on resin usually stick to the resin very well, but not to paint. If you don't wash resin, the paint will fall off later. I don't know what Chris does, but better safe than sorry.

-Also, for this mod, it might be best to cut the hood out, replace it (don't glue the front edge) then cut off the front bumper and replace that, and not to both concurrently. If you do, the Z's body will be very fragile and it will be extremely easy to break the A-pillars, which can be disasterous.
