hypertech chip for 3.1

I am wondering the power gain with a chip stage 1 or stage 2 in a 1990 lumina with a 3.1 and is it worth the money!

I know there are a few people over there with the chip in their cars. There's even a guy that has worked with the chips.

Hypertech chips have a stage 1 and a stage 2 for the lumina and I was wondering the power gain when they are installed
