exhaust question

im new to this and was wondering if you guys have some recomendations on some good exhausts that can be had for bout $175.
dont want to loud just nice racer sound. also will i gain any performance by doing exhaust? how bout cat-back system? going on 91 civic ex.

even the best cat-back exhaust(alone) will free up a couple HP's. Do you want the rice look? Can't help ya there. Get a Flowmaster w/ custom pipe.

just want a good exhaust that will sound good and not to loud for 175-200. any suggestions?

like he said go with flowmaster..try go for 3 chamber..if you get a 2 chamber with straight pipe it might get you some noise tickets...lol...but that get you like 4-5 hp and sound alright for the price

all i can say is don't get an Apex'i N1. if you do, get the silencer and have a resonator or two installed.

If you save for two more months, and triple that limit, get the HKS sport exhaust. Awsome eexhaust, very quiet, yet aggressive, and looks stock.

depends on your source...

ive seen them around $650 shipped.

the only downfall to the hks is that its aluminized steel, not stainless.
