Well first of all I wanna say hallo to everyone.
Im a Swede middleage guy with a burning intrest of cars,, not only my Toyota infact, but to be specific, my Dodge Challenger R/T Conv.

OK,, there is a common day also and I have really enjoyed the miles behind the wheels of my two toyotas.

I fell like Im normally handy although I need to learn alot more.
I change the headgasket myself in the garage on my Carina 1,8 earlier this spring after a heat problem so guess I have some ideas of what to do.

This time I need your help in how to convert the original sparkplugs.

It have platinum NipponDenso PK20R13 and they have hold on for years.
In fact Ive runned approx 120000miles on them!

Problem is they are very expensive ,, at least in Sweden!!
Now the car have got an easier way of living as an old retired and its only driven approx 3000 miles a year.
I dont need any plugs that will last 40 years!

The Swede Toyota salesmens dont have any sustitute for the platinum!
Whats your opinion?
Anyone with a correct nr for any NGK, Bosch, Champion or what so ever that could match the specifications??

Best Regards Olle B

Look at a NGK BKR6EP-11, they should be very similar, the only difference I can see is the ND plug you mention has a gap of 1,3mm while the NGK is gapped at 1,1mm, which should be small enough of a difference to be safe to change (I'd use an old fashioned notch type gapper rather than the newer disc-wedge type). This NGK sells here for about $6 USD vs. $24 USD for that ND.
