V belt

Does anyone know how to replace the v belt on a 1987 Jetta GLI? In the book it says to undo the bolt. Done that and the power steering box wont move to get the new belt on. Help!!!

There's two adjuster bolts on the P/S pump. One easy to see on the lower outer (tire side) of the pump and another hidden on the inner (engine side) below the water hose inlet to the water pump hidden in the aluminum housing. You might need to loosen the pivot bolts also - they are above the adjustment bolts.
