there should be a couple bolts holding it in the wheel well, just take those off and force it out from the bottom. well thats what i did :D

I removed the resonator on my friends N15 GTi. It was screwed to the bodywork with three screws; No biggie at all... You'll know what to do when you get there...

peace!

I'm not saying that the N15 is exactly like the p10, but in my Haynes DIY book, it's almost the same layout...

peace!

It's sorta a pain the ass though. you gotta get on the ground and reachup to get to the bolts. i think it was three, but I don't remember

There are three screw/bolts holding it in place. i find it best to use a screwdriver w/ a (10mm i believe) socket attachment. although, depending on the car, you may need to use a wrench to break them free. After you remove the screws, you can just pull the box out through the bottom of the bumper. I find it easiest to get out, if you rotate it, about 90 degrees to the right (looking at the side of the car), and then pull it out, as it puts the biggest part of the box at the back of the opening, where it is the largest.
And no, I havn't done this a lot. :D I've done it on too many cars, i lost count a while back. Actually, most Nissan's I've run across are set up like this. (G20, sentra, 200sx, nx, pathfinder, etc.....) The only one I've found to be quite a bit different is the 300z. Hope this helps
