P452 DTC after Replacing Fuel Pump

My 99 suburban started to stall randomly, then quit starting altogether. after reading some posts and troubleshooting, determined that the fuel pump was toast. replaced it and the fuel filter. now the "Service Engine" light is on and the code it is throwing is "P452 - Fuel Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input". i have a set of factory service manuals on the way, but would like to know if there are any obvious things to check for. am thinking of dropping the tank again to double check the hoses/electrical connections because that is the only area i was working in except for replacing the fuel filter. any suggestions? didn't seem to find similar problems in existing threads.

thanks.

I would check the connector for the fuel tank pressure sensor on top the tank...may be loose or not connected
