No Trouble Codes, just flashing light

Car will start and drive, then die. No trouble codes in diagnostic mode.
With a key and grounding the dataline with the computer ground, not
even a code 12 comes up to tell you that the computer is in self-diag.
mode. All that I get is: A flashing light(about 3 per sec). Quad drivers
all read 50,000ohms. Brand new battery. No apparent shorts.
anyone out there with anything similar? Thanks for any help you can
offer.

This solved my problem! I had to get the engine to
operating temperature first, and then I used a
scanner this time and a code 22 came up. I Replaced the Throttle Postion Sensor and all problems resolved!!!!!!!
