Okay here's a little job I'm working on right now. I put the wood back in my car and cut holes accordingly for the harness to poke through and clip into the chassis. I have black carpet I'm going to lay over this (which was in before, so it's already cut to fit), but what can I do to the edges of the carpet around the holes to make it look clean instead of just having slits for the belts to go through? It's my daily grinder and I'm tired of having a gutted rear... I like my nice carpet better.
btw I know it looks like a face or something but will all be covered up when I put my carpet back in :)

I dont know where you would get it but there is rubber tubes that are slit. U can jus slide them onto it so there is just a rubber tube around where the hole it

9 views and 1 reply.. you people have no ingenuity at all.
blown, I was thinking about that but I ended up just cutting slits and it looks pretty good as-is so I may just leave it. Just gotta hook up all those speaker wires again and I'll be done.

Sorry to get off topic there...to answer your question though, why dont you just fold the carpet under and sew it or something so you have a nice clean little slit with rounded edges? Blowns idea wasnt bad either though.
