Motor Mount Repair Help

Ok, to start, I have a 91 Acura Integra. Thats about all I know as far as "car specs" go. :-\
I also know that I have a busted motor mount which could lead to more problems, so my question is. How much does a repair on this usually cost? I need to know how much to save for and watch what prices I get. As well as, how difficult would it be to replace it on my own..? (its the top passenger side mount)

automatic or manual tranny? the mounts are not really hard to change except for the rear mount it is a pain in the ass. Other than that they are simple. You will need to use a jack with a board on it to gently take the weight of the motor off the mount and then just remove the bolts and replace the mount and then torque everything back to spec and you are good to go. Automatic. Thanks for the information. Is there any general cost to a motor mount? And pardon my question, I don't know much about cars, I'm more of a computer guy right now..but what do you mean torque everything back to spec? Is that just "return everything to normal"? Thanks again.

You can but the mounts here www.acuraautomotiveparts.org (http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org) they are a local dealership here and they are very nice and the price is extremely reasonable. The torque everything back to spec is how tight the bolts are put back in at. It is measured with a tool called a torque wrench and the manufactor reccomends at certain torque spec to be on different bolts. It is a must to do this step or you risk either breaking bolts, parts etc or not having the bolts tight enough. If you are any little bit unsure of yourself on this then just let a shop do it you can do some real damage by not torqueing the bolts to spec. You could try this : http://importnut.net/motormount.htm instead of buying a new mount, but it will be stiff & you will feel more engine vibrations. The proper way would be to use a toque wrench, but I don't think its really needed for a motor mount.
