Well, i've been putting this off for ages, trying all the different methods but it just wont work. How do i get the lighter colors..........Ts white, yellow etc to cover properly. Im using all the Tamiya stuff....Primer (white for the lighter colors), paints etc but the lighter colors just WILL NOT COVER, especially around the edges !!!
Please give me some clue's on how to get this right.............
Later, Mike.

If painting light colours over dark you need to prime first.
Do very very light mist coats and allow plenty off time drying between coats....up to 2-3 hours.
I have found that this works best for me.

The primer should be hiding the color of plastic, or there's no way the body paint can hide it, unless you add so many layers, which you don't want to.
Sometimes, white primer isn't opaque enough. So, I suggest using gray primer for the first 2 layers or so. Then apply another 2 or 3 layers of white. Each coat has to be very light.
