SS hoods non functional/ Ws6 hood provides real cold air pressure

Who is saying that laminar flow is not as good as turbulent flow for the SS' intake? As a Mechanical Engineer, I can assure you that turbulent air is NOT better than laminar for an intake. Laminar is better. The mesh at the opening of the hood scoop may help to keep the air laminar to a small extent. I am not able to say which is better the SS or WS6 intake, since I haven't examined a WS6's intake up close. Regardless, let all the F-body enthusiasts just get along, and lets bash on the Mustang diehards instead of each other.

um..... this thread is two years old. If there is something you wish to discuss, create a new thread to do so rather than digging up old threads like this. Many of these members no longer post here so your talking to shadows. Just a heads up for future reference. Im going to lock this thread to keep from digging up an old argument.
