Lantra '96 Engine problems

Hey guys, My lantra engine (1.6 DOHC) has these annoying ticking from the valves... (some one told me it's the valve lifters) how can i fix it?

i think the 96 elantra's are a piece of shit. my brother has 1 and since the second day he drove it, somethin has gone wrong. there is already a new tranny and we had to rip the engine apart to find out wat was wrong with it. We had to replace the ehadgasket, piston rings, and the rod bearings.
